The only weapons humankind was born with is hands/fists; should that be good enough reason to confiscate their guns?

Except for the sole purpose of hunting. Military purposes also 'course.

    Nope.
    A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.


    Militia being military aged people, and people being the American people. 
    We have firearms because the government has firearms.

    ...Because the government has firearms? The military/police need guns so that means everybody can have guns?
    Happens occasionally Americans coming cross the border to Canada are surprised to have their guns confiscated and possible charges unaware that gun laws here are different.
