Are you interested in peeking into the mind of an idiot?

A person walks into a grocery store and, among other things, purchases items to make chicken soup.  Then, immediately upon leaving the store, drives directly to the local Chinese restaurant and orders 3 very large containers of various forms of chicken based soups, along with other food from the menu, of course.  WTF? What were they thinking? How much hot soup can one person drink in a day?  How much food can they eat?  And, what's going to happen to all the ingredients for the soup if there is enough prepared food to last for a few days?

I need serious help. :-(

Stop saying that! You are no idiot.
My son works with a real idiot. She is a bartender where he works. And one night he was filling a bottle with Pine Sol and water.
When he went to the tap to put the water in, she said,"I didn't know that they had Pine Sol on tap."
Now that is a true idiot LOL.

Maybe they are going to make some up ahead of time and freeze it for easy use later.

Thank you Veena.  I embrace it every day.  I like to keep expectations low so when something good happens, people are pleasantly surprised and proud of me.

You like chicken soup. It's okay. Chicken soup is good.

I think I positively identified the store in the GIF as Target.

It's probably the reason why you don't like chicken soup!  Did you grow up in a kosher home and were forced to consume a lot of bland salty chicken? lol.

Well, mom cooked a variety of foods, with a smattering of Kosher foods now and again. One was a soup called Koit, which is a sweet and sour beef, cabbage and tomato soup. We all loved it but I haven't had it in decades. I think my sister has the recipe.

mmm.  I've had that soup but I don't remember that name for it.  I make a killer borscht.

I only mentioned the kosher because the Jewish men I've spoken with that don't like chicken soup, don't/didn't eat chicken at all due to being raised in a kosher home.  Kosher food is just nasty.  Bland and salty.  Bleah.

Send me your recipe for borscht. (PM). I like chicken and I have a knack for cooking it so it is not dry and un-swallowable.
