Interesting. The "life" of a fetus is more important than the life of an alive child who is victimized by a pedophile. Does anyone know WHY?

I certainly don't  believe this way.

In either scenario, a human life is destroyed. One method we legalized, the other we turned a blind eye to and pretended that it wasn't permanently scarring and destroying a child's chance for a healthy, happy and wholesome life. One process was upheld by a court and protected by law, the other condoned (despite laws and penalties being on the books to the contrary), because it was more important to protect "alternate lifestyles" in our politically correct society. 

Well, if a fetus is aborted, that eliminates all possibility of any kind of life.

The human animal has great ability to heal from the most damaging injuries of all kinds.

Killers often plead guilty to avoid the death penalty and choose life imprisonment.

Apparently there is some inherent value to living---regardless of the quality of that life---that people seem to prefer.

That's why being anti-abortion makes no sense.  If you're anti-pedophilia then it only makes sense to want less children around to attract pedophiles.

This seems much too general.  But is said that "politics makes strange bedfellows"  and if you are into something so strongly you seek to get laws passed for or against it then you look for support wherever you can find it.  Is the same with all "single issue" interests.  But a fetus is alive is it not?  And subject to abuse in utero by its mother (which really it exists as a part of) as well as others. So lets not think that the only "abusers" are pedophiles who victimize "alive children".  Many people believe that taking a life is more is a more serious transgression than sexual abuse so of course they lend it more weight. If I had the choice, and God forbid, I would much rather be abused and live than be murdered.
