You're right. I haven't met all Israelis. Just all the ones living in New York City. Oy Gevalt! Yes, I was reminded every time that I am a citizen and I should go live in Israel. My question was always: "If it's so great over there, why are you living here?"

You cannot immigrate FROM a country. Immigrate means to come to a country to live. When you leave one country for another, you emigrate. Where I would go would depend on why I was leaving and the conditions and the welcome I would get in the other country.
