If you were forced to immigrate FROM the United States where would you go?

The circumstances can be natural disaster or persecution.

You're right.  I haven't met all Israelis.  Just all the ones living in New York City.  Oy Gevalt!   Yes, I was reminded every time that I am a citizen and I should go live in Israel.  My question was always: "If it's so great over there, why are you living here?"

Nah.  This was mostly during the 80s.  They were always hitting on me.  With my pale skin, blue eyes & red hair, they thought I was Irish.  When they found out I was Jewish, they thought they hit the shiksa fantasy jackpot.

No you don't. I've been to Israel and South Chicago. The people in Israel speak English.

Busted! Immigrate means to move in. Emigrate means to move out. Migrate, with no prefix, means to move across.

What's it to you how I answer? And you're hardly one to talk given your sweeping generalization of and attitude toward Israelis.

LOL!  You are such a wet blanket Stu.  I've never met anyone online who takes themselves as seriously as you do.  It's fascinating.  Are you Israeli?

And I've never encountered anyone who holds so much baseless hostility toward foreign countries and people that he knows little or nothing about. Maybe you're a bit anti-Semitic as well. Eh, Xenophobic Zack?

You cannot immigrate FROM a country. Immigrate means to come to a country to live. When you leave one country for another, you emigrate. Where I would go would depend on why I was leaving and the conditions and the welcome I would get in the other country.
