(Look on the bright side: maybe some of them are those millenials who expected to start at the top of their companies fresh out of high school or college.)
My sisters and I stopped exchanging gifts when the nieces and nephews came along and now there are great-nieces and nephews. It isn't as though no one will be buying them gifts. :)
I do not shop for holidays. I let my wife do that and I don't know or care where she goes as long as she uses her own money. We only have one mall left. I've been there once in 15 years.
I don't Christmas shop. I send a little something, usually money, to my grandchildren. I give them and a few others really great birthday gifts. Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Christ, not about buying gifts. I keep the true meaning for Christmastime.
