  • It's not pudding. It's a cake.
    This is pudding

  • That makes no sense.  They have nothing on common.  Yorkshire pudding is a dinner roll and spotted dick is a cake. So is that.

Under British logic everything that isn't meat, fruit, or veggie is pudding.

Hey look! Cheese pudding https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3xiNWc5Vtjg/UQqBEoq36UI/AAAAAAAAAbE/Ygir2ZUN2uA/s1600/macaroni-and-cheese-done-1024x680.jpg This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at November 20, 2017 4:40 PM MST

  • Maybe "pudding" is the/a British word for dessert.  :))

This is a bonnet. (in Britain)

  • Can't be. Yorkshire pudding is a dinner roll and not a dessert.

Yorkshire pudding is a batter dumpling. Not a roll. Put a sausage in it and it's "toad in the hole".

  • I know what they are, dumpling, roll.  Same difference.  What it is not. Is pudding.

  • About the bonnet .  It's really called a hood scoop.  Brts don't get to rename these things since they have yet to manufacture a decent and well made car.  Since they only make junk cars, their terms are rubbish.

  • Bentleys and Rolls Royces are some pretty expensive rubbish, don't you think?

  • Yes, yes I do.  Especially RR and also Jaguars.   They rattle themselves apart and start puttering black smoke in no time.  Okay I never worked on a RR, but I know Brit engine engineering, worked on enough others, and know the reputation.

  • I tried to find a descent picture of a hood ... that looked like a hood and not something else.  (Ignore the scoops)

Sometimes they stock SPOTTED DICK at the Meijers stores. Look in the 'world foods' isle under Great Britain.
