  • That was different for sure.
I can honestly say I've never heard that before.
Thanks for sharing what's stuck in your head.

Lol, I hadn't either until a couple of weeks ago.  I think because they are so unusual the songs want to stick around.

  • Yeah for sure.
    What language was it in?
    Do you understand it?
    What is the song about?

Russian, I believe.  If you listen to some of his earlier songs (before he shaved his head) he does have a good voice and an amazing range.
The song is translated as you watch the video.  The words sound like a folksong, perhaps.

  • I catch myself singing that one every year too. LoL!
It's pretty silly, but catchy for sure.
    Thanks. : )

I've just played through the bewildering Spec Ops: The Line again (a fantastic criticism of military shooters, and granting some genuine, nonexploitive insight into PTSD), so "Hush" by Deep Purple and "1983" from the Jimi Hendrix Experience have been running amok.

  • Those were really awesome!
The Deep Purple song was great.
    Those guys looked cool.
Looks like they had a lot of fun making that video. LoL!

I love the guitar playing in the Jimmy Hendrix song, very intricate and soothing and haunting.
The ocean visuals in this video are cool too.

Thanks for sharing those. : )

Glad you like them too; Hendrix was (/is) always phenomenal on guitar, but I think that song shows his quality as a lyricist and singer as well.

    You're very welcome!

  • LoL!
That song was stuck in my head this morning too.
I was singing "These are a few of my favorite things" in a woman's voice and my son looked at me like "What's wrong with my dad?" LoL!
It's awesome, thanks for sharing it. : )

Great minds and all that. ;P

Must be the time of year. I'm not sure how this even became a Christmas song!

Ok, I think this is one of those songs that grows on you.
I listened to it and I thought "That's intense."
Then I left to message someone and I came back listened to this song again and I was kinda dancing the 2nd time I heard it.
It's a powerful song and it's really good.
