Some time after immediate needs are met.
I have an "Are you in or are you out" attitude with little patience for the undecided and for those decided against. This post was edited by O-uknow at November 27, 2017 11:03 PM MST

:)  I tend to hang around people like you. :)  I'm more I will help no matter what and you can sit there and do nothing.  Doing nothing never enters my mind.
However, I do like people who directly think and have little tolerance for who don't when someone is in need.  I just let it ride.  I'm glad you don't.

I hope you don't think I am stalking you here today.  I have not been on here much lately and I am answering more comments than I normally do.  I hope you are not getting annoyed, as it seems like I am hitting your comments a lot.

    I must be feeling groovy.

I am old and a fall risk.  One thing I don't want to do is break a hip at my age.  I would think a spouse would make sure that in the event of, say a surgery, he would be extra careful, take precautions.
Once something like that happens there is no going back.  I would be more than disappointed if he didn't protect me.  It is something I would do for him without hesitation.

  • I liked because of what you said about helping without hesitation.

I keep thinking of you as a young woman.  Not because you act immature or anything.  You just seem so young at heart, I guess.

Geez Louise, Veena K, shhhhhhhh, keep it down!  The cops monitor these websites, you know?

Listen, of course I question you for turning me down, I mean all I asked you to do was to drive the getaway car!  The gang and I will do all the hard work and take all the risks pulling the heist!  We need someone sweet and innocent like you waiting outside the bank in the carb with the engine running so that no one will suspect anything . . .

Think it over again, and remember, you get a full share of the loot just like everyone else in the gang does.

Veena is in the witness protection program, free of your clutches.  They gave her a nice house that is far nicer than whatever you offered.

Randy D thinks, "Gee, there's probably a lot of loot in a joint like that . . . hmmmmm."

On the contrary, I know that loot will buy a very fine joint ;)
And if you play your cards right, some very fine wine, too ;)

No they have their own lives to lead and I try not to bother others unless I really need help.

It depends on whether or not I think the person has a duty to assist me.

Where I live, I could be laying on the sidewalk naked and bleeding.  People are so afraid of being sued, I would be lucky if anyone called 911.

Overall, Yes.  I would be hurt emotionally not to mention physically.  But in L.A. would I question it?  No.

I'm sure you all know I am not the sue-happy type.  I didn't even sue the people whose dog bit me in my face.  People put the amount of dollars in their savings account way before the hurt and dying.  Where I live, it is sad, but true.

Er, um, I think I'm going to need directions to that street corner. Better yet, just provide me with the longitude and latitude; I'll punch it into my GPS.

Exactly Randy (really cool picture by the way :))!  Heaven forbid I say go left at the man on the corner begging for food because there is no work for him and his P.H.D. Turn right at the lady who is struggling to pay off her student loan and still flipping burgers.  Travel down 1-5 for about 30 miles and stop at the gas station.  You know the Exxon right there on the corner of not helping owning up to your tragic mistakes and how it effects our planet.  That is the same corner where you could turn to educate and Stop!  Make a difference and take action.  You don't wan to go there, just ease around that corner.  You'll run into a four-way stop there.  You and your fellow man.  You know the one.  He's the neighbor you don't trust.  You'll see your destination.  It's right there in the field of lost dreams and beliefs you can make a difference.
That would be way too personal.  Better to let the computers do it for us.*

*Note to self: Text secretary clean up on the corner of Main and Broadway.  Some Dame is laying there bleeding all over the place and she's naked.  Site  her for indecent exposure.
Hugs and loves, Randy.  Sad but true.   This post was edited by Merlin at November 27, 2017 11:12 PM MST

Oh yes, instantaneously.   Fortunately I come to my senses almost immediately and give the non-assister the benefit of the doubt.

The world does not owe me anything.  I should be grateful when help comes, but not expect or demand it.

Veena,  I could not find any picture to fit this answer, so I just sent you a nice array of maple syrups.

Exactly Shar!  I give without expecting ANYTHING in return.  I help because someone needs it and if I can I'll stop and help even at my risk.  I totally agree with the world nor the person/people owing me anything.  I'm happy to help if I can.  CHEERS Shar!  I am with you!! I think you are worth the time Weylon!  You are just as important as the next guy and I would help you if you needed it without hesitation.  Please don't sell yourself short! You're a good guy who might need help.  Hopefully this scenario will Never happen.  But, if it does, someone will help you :)  I'll send magical Merlin notes to everyone on-board to keep you in mind ;)
