Early morning Wednesday Matt Lauer was fired. Latest ? Garrison Keillor. The day is young. More to come. Are you as depressed as I am?

It would be unfair of me to say that every male has been sexually abusive to someone at some time.  That can't be true. BUT I think it is fair to say that every day in every way more and more scumbags will be outed. They thought they got away clean! They were wrong. Eventually every single one of them will be outed and dealt with.  Every day in every way, relentlessly, justice will be served. Every day in every way once outed these folks will live different lives than they did when they thought no one would be brave enough to stand up and tell the truth. They clearly underestimated their victims. They clearly thought they had won. Nope.  Surprise! :(

((hugs)) That "chick" would not be the likes of me and we are billions strong m'dear. Seriously bh. I know guys look at it differently. But it is so disheartening to realize the depth and breadth and height of this abomination. I had no idea. None. I would have guessed maybe 10% or less of guys were scumbags. Maybe it's 90% and the good guys are the 10%. SIGH. Thank you for your reply. I appreciate that you tried to lighten  my mood with your lighthearted reply. It didn't work but thanks. I do appreciate it!  Happy Wednesday! :)

Sexual harassment is more common than people care to believe (and it's not just males).  I've seen it in the workplace and have even been on the receiving end.  If you've ever had a sexual harassment class, you'll see that a lot of things people do can be considered as sexual harassment - and it's not just in the workplace.  Movies, TV shows and even advertisements promote it as "normal".
While NO one should EVER be sexually harassed, sometimes what people wear and how they conduct themselves can cause problems (a topic covered in many sexual harassment classes).

But what gets me is that people wait 20 to over 40 years to say something.. and then only if the person is in a  high profile position.  That in no way excuses such behavior, but it is a bit odd.

This harassment has been going on since the beginning of mankind, things may better but I doubt it will completely go away.
