If it weren't for consumption of fossil fuels to produce CO2 where would drink makers get carbon dioxide needed to give soda pop its fizz?

Isn't it more important to have fizz in your pop than worry about global warming?

    Yeast acts on sugars to produce fizz (and alcohol). That's why beer is fizzy.

    So we burp out carbon dioxide from the beer which provides soda pop makers the CO2 they need to make their beverages fizzy.
