There is no handling it.  I have been devastated twice in my life.  The most recent was nine years ago.  My world changed both times.  I now live in a world with little resemblance to the world I lived in prior to these two events.  The important thing is that I live and manage to love and be thankful for each day while carrying a profound sorrow that will never leave me. Yours is still fresh.  I think it takes about ten years for it to feel like some time has passed.  For me, that is.  I'm glad you have family.

Time, meditation and prayer.  I come out the other side stronger for it.

Good friends help this too.   You have helped me through some bummers and you don't even know it.

I am here for you always.

I like what ThriftyMaid said very much. I try to fill in the cracks with as much love, happiness and gratitude as I can create and feel.
