No, you are all alone on that.

I must be!  I have hand written out 27 of them and surprisingly I have 22 of those addresses.  EMAIL addresses!  What a crapshoot that was.  Ugh!

  • No, I haven't done that in years.

I'm beginning to believe I'm the sole dinosaur on this venture.  I have received two this year but they were all computer done.  I still think it's nice to get thank you notes and holiday wishes hand written out.  Would you freak if you got one from one from your relatives?  One of the two I received was from over seas.  This post was edited by Merlin at December 14, 2017 10:55 PM MST

  • I'd be surprized if I got one from a relative. Years ago I wrote letters with a couple of friends. It was before everyone had a computer. Now that's an art form! Nobody writes letters anymore tho. Gone the way of the albatross.

I have a feeling you may be right.  To write anything in cursive is a style many may not even remember.  I still like to do it.  I think some people still remember it and surprised or not, just might open the card to look at it! That doesn't mean they will be able to read it but maybe they will still get the jest of the thought.  Thanks Lady Hermit :)

One brother does. He is the only one in the family that ever did.

Yes Merlin I do, and it is still common in the UK to do so.

No, Merlin, you are not the only dinosaur.  I mailed out 40 cards on Wednesday.
