  • You're batting a thousand as usual. Winston Churchill, Franklin Roosevelt, George Washington, Mohandas K. Ghandi, King Solomon, Golda Meir, Margaret Thatcher........, the list goes on and on and I don't see a crazee anywhere.

Wouldn't the expression "batting a thousand" mean that she's absolutely correct?

(In baseball) To reach first base on every at-bat. (In idiomatic use) To achieve success at each attempt. He's batting a thousand so far with the new boss. (Also in idiomatic use) To achieve perfection. No one can bat a thousand for the whole season.

  • Taken out of context in a sarcastic way, it can mean you've achieved a perfect run of being off consistently as I would expect. But your point is well taken and noted for the record.
