You are of course aware of parallel construction when writing.
So, you will understand that I would be in poor taste were I to reply to a simple question with my esoteric cogitations and platitudinous ponderosities. Therefore, in such cases, I eschew complex, multi-part, and intricate answers and prefer to use terse, aphoristic, or wry responses---usually.
Edit to insert a comma.

I often do. Just as I often respond with simple answers to complex, multipart, intricate, and detailed questions. Doing either, I have discovered, tends to send a couple of questioners here off the deep end. ;)
There is no charge for a simple answer. The complex answer rate is $20 @ word. The complex, multipart answers are $35 per word. Complex, multipart, intricate answers cost $50 per word. Complex, multipart, intricate and detailed answers require an appointment and a background check, after which and upon approval, the financial terms will be stated.
