How are your pets responding to your Xmas Day activities?

East Coast Australia is 10 hours ahead of the USA, so we're all well into Xmas day here in with intense blue skies and blistering heat.

Went out for a ride in the cool of the early morning.
Husband Ari drive along behind to protect El Hakim on the road.
Hakim got excited to see horses he'd never met, and vice versa, so Ari took a shot on his mobile.

Wishing all Muggers a happy, healthy and safe Xmas,

from Hartfire

  • They're great fun, but if you have no or little experience of animals, talk to as many others about their pets as you can, and do some serious and thorough research on species, breeds, needs and training. The right knowledge makes a world of difference in creating a good relationship with happy and healthy critters.

Welllllllll I am so glad you asked! Disappointing really... I bought the dog, ( a baby puppy) an elf outfit... that was ok, though she bit and broke the hat within seconds.. and lost the bells on the ruff.. But I was most disappointed at her reaction and behaviour during our CHristmas walk.. We have a tradition;we go feed the ducks and go for a walk. I was so looking forward to it... her first Christmas walk.. She was ok but apparently when I wasn't looking jumped up and scratched daughter, (who was walking her.)  Daughter was then in pain and upset.. so puppy felt sad and morose :( She was sick in the car on the way back and poo'd on the doormat, which everyone walked in...  SO while not awful, it was a bit disappointing.
