What are some sacrifices Donald Trump has made that you can think of? (It's a thing on Twitter)

In the spirit of Stephen Colbert's #NotIntendedToBeAFactualStatement Twitter campaign inspired by Senator Jon Kyl's blatant lie about Planned Parenthood in a Congressional oration, someone has started a #TrumpSacrifices campaign. Some examples:

#TrumpSacrifices: Ate an entire taco bowl to support the Hispanic Community

#TrumpSacrifices: Waited for horses to die before harvesting their hair for his comb-over

#TrumpSacrifices: Once had to wait an entire 20 minutes at a steakhouse

What are some #TrumpSacrifices you can name?

Alimony.  Lots of it.    The only thing TRUMP thinks of as a sacrifice is loss of money.

  • I saw one yesterday that just said "Dignity" and thought it was hilarious.

WOW that is really bastardizing the English language to totally twist its true meaning. Pretty soon the Dictionary will be called the TRUMPTIONARY to allow for this kind of nonsensical no-logic.

    DIGNITY.  Wonderful.    My stomach hurts.

And now all of his supporters are sharing in that sacrifice....;-D....

Oh he suffered, trust me.  He was NOT happy with Ivana's ability to clean up.

They even satirized it in a movie.   First Wives.  A tribute to the women who triumphed over pigs like Trump.

@Shar -- I don't understand. Are you saying Trump has NOT sacrificed his dignity in a multitude of ways to reach his current position in life?

Wait...didn't he sacrifice about a hundred vendors on the altar of bankruptcy (cubed)?

Ah, you bring up a very pertinent point. Perhaps when Trump speaks of sacrifice, he means in the sense of throwing virgins in the mouth of the volcano.

Of course, in the sense of #TrumpSacrifices, that would only be a sacrifice if the virgin was hawt, in which case Trump would have to sacrifice his shot at boning her, thereby ruining her value as a Volcano God placation offering.

I am merely remarking regarding the term  DIGNITY.  I am thinking of Trump having any to sacrifice.    You have to have it to sacrifice it.  He has not one scintilla.  Never had as far as I recall either.  He has greed, avarice, cunning and manipulating to his credit.  DIGNITY?  Please.   He has never had any use for something so inconvenient as that.  He certainly knows how to pretend.  He doesn't know how to actually earn that definition.

    Nimitz,

I must butt in once more and applaud this answer.  I wish I would have said it.

    NICE!!!!!

Well, it is not so much that I missed it.   There is so much to pick from.  I'm glad you brought it to the forefront.

After I posted my response, it finally occurred to me one cannot sacrifice what one does not have (and, arguably in Trump's case, never had)....;-D...

Well, you pointed out a major mistake I made that I had not realized,  when I answered Char the first time..  I messed up because I  THOUGHT that Charface was saying the  TWITTERERS said he HAD dignity;  until I read your reply.  I realized they were saying he had none after I made my comment.

So, you were right and I was wrong and now we are both right. How'd that happen?  I made a mistake but was saved because he DON'T GOT ANY.  LOL

This underscores my earlier point in an oblique sort of way. As a libertarian I imagine I'm much more 'conservative' than you (at least on economic/fiscal matters), but when it comes to Trump's clear unfitness for the job people from all sides and spectra can come together in agreement--even repugnicans.  Never miss an opportunity to join forces on the, ahem, 'fundamentals.' :-)

Hillary Clinton, much as the idea may make me wanna retch, WILL be our next president. She won't win on her own merits, but she'll win because she was spot on about Trump. The man is an emotional and intellectual adolescent.  Even those who currently support him know it.  The implosion of his candidacy is one foul-mouthed statement away.  I get why the rank and file love the man, but I can't believe they fell for him.

Nimitz I am not a libertarian.  But I do agree with your take on the both of them.

I don't hate Hillary, but I have a lot of hope that she will take us in a much better direction than that thing or any Republican thing that was proffered up for the slaughter.

I also hated every damn one of the priors from Romney to Gingrich to that Pig John McCain.

So?  As much as the Democrats leave MUCH to be desired, the thought of Adolph Hitler instead of Clinton one or Clinton two, well either seems ready for sainthood in comparison.

But you have said nothing that I have a problem with at all.  Except that Libertarian stance.  Not one of them.  Don't hate them.  Not one of them.

I am more excited that you do seem to have chops and are not an idiot rather than your political label.

    THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING TOO!!!!!!

"Nimitz I am not a libertarian."

    I know. :-)

"But I do agree with your take on the both of them."

    It's not a tough call. :-)

"I am more excited that you do seem to have chops and are not an idiot rather than your political label. "

Dunno what this means, but I think it's a compliment. Thanks.  I'll take it as such.  One thing about us libertarians: at no point will we ever attempt to take your rights, life or property.  Can the various flavors of statism say the same?

EDIT: I'd have said thank you back if the thread hadn't run out eight levels deep. :-)

I just meant that it doesn't really matter to me what your political persuasion is as long as you seem to have an intelligent point of view that you can back.

I'm listening to you and like most of what you say.    That's all.

You be your Libertarian self, and that is wonderful.  Hope I learn a lot from you.
