In the spirit of Stephen Colbert's #NotIntendedToBeAFactualStatement Twitter campaign inspired by Senator Jon Kyl's blatant lie about Planned Parenthood in a Congressional oration, someone has started a #TrumpSacrifices campaign. Some examples:
#TrumpSacrifices: Ate an entire taco bowl to support the Hispanic Community
#TrumpSacrifices: Waited for horses to die before harvesting their hair for his comb-over
#TrumpSacrifices: Once had to wait an entire 20 minutes at a steakhouse
What are some #TrumpSacrifices you can name?
Actually, arguably, he sacrificed his brain/body to it....;-D...

Only he really knows that. It's irrelevant anyway.
Most sacrifices are only made on the implied understanding that such gestures will be reciprocated or that some indirect benefit will come of it. When someone truly loves something or someone enough to make sacrifices without expecting anything in return, they just do it. They don't talk about it. To talk about it is to seek the social validation and admiration of others. If that is their goal, it wasn't a sacrifice. It was an investment.
What is even worse is when someone tries to associate themselves with the sacrifice of others for their own benefit. They themselves haven't sacrificed anything. A sacrifice is when you choose to give, not when misfortune makes you lose something. The Khan's son chose to put himself in harms way. If he did it with pure intentions, that's a sacrifice. The parents didn't choose for their son to die. They LOST him. They didn't sacrifice. Now they wish to use his sacrifice to shield themselves and their entire religious identity from criticism.
So can all the leftist hypocrites please stop virtue signalling, look deep into your own souls, realise you've never really made much sacrifice either, and STFU?
@AS -- Sure, as soon as you get that stick out of your hindquarters that makes you turn anything into an excuse to STOOPID EBIL LIBRUHL-bash, we'll get right on that...;-D...
