When did people of color start coming to the US more frequently? I would think if immigration laws are stricter it's because of 911 .. just like for all the other tighter national security laws.
That's not remotely true. It never became stricter because of skin color. It became paranoid because of idiots using scare tactics regarding who our enemies are. There are cretins begging for it to become stricter because of them Muslim terrorists and all Muslims must suffer for it. There is not an issue of color as much as beliefs and where one came from. If you were rich and black you are totally welcome as long as you are rich and black and Republican. As a rule that will give you NO problem. Just believe and act like everyone who is paranoid and you are in.
But so far, you get to come here if you are not sneaking into the country and then sometimes you make it anyway.
I dunno, but color isn't the issue. Cultural and ideological hostility to us and our way of life is the issue.
