No, but 25 years after I graduated HS I went back and taught there. I looked up my old school records. I should have taken them...They tore the school down about 10 years ago.
I hear you, but I guess my parents just gave up or forgot about report cards? I think I did the right thing. My parents worked so hard why dissapoint them? I passed each grade somehow and had lots of fun so I guess it worked out?
Our Report "Cards" were actually forms on paper, but when we cleared our late parents' home we found our Dad had squirreled some of our reports away in his bureau. I have that bureau now, and some of my reports are still in there. God knows why, other than our family's hoarder gene.
I went to school for a year in Mexico where their grading system is based on a scale of 1-I0. I attended kindergarten at a Catholic school. I recently found my report card, and got a kick at being graded a 10 for piety. This was 1960, and you would get graded on how pious a student was. I've had many laughs with my friends over this. Especially since I was only in kindergarten, how hard must that have been?
