I find it funny sometimes how all of us at times, we "real people," believe we have every right to express and yell our opinions, yet, we disallow the famous people to do so and we sometimes get all pissed off at them when they express an opinion. As if, because they're famous, they need to stay quiet -- and only we little people are allowed to speak out.
And, yes, I'm sorry for my minor tirade here. And where it came from, I don't know. I'm just having some rough days and my head and heart are flying all over the place.
I hear ya. I haven't watched television in years so I've been spared running across any kind of award shows. I simply can't stomach watching a bunch of talentless people breaking their arms patting themselves on the back. They get some kind of reward for learning lines for a living. School kids memorize many things so what makes actors and actresses any more special than them?
notice how quick they stopped talking about #metoo? guess the job offers weren't coming in fast enough to keep them outraged. BUt its certainly courageous to wear black to a black tie event.
