I have not. I have no desire to go anywhere that I would describe that way. There is plenty of room in the USA and Canada, if they will allow me in, to roam without going to a sh!thole.
You know. There could have been a better way for that orange POS to say that so as to not be so offensive. Something along the lines of being understanding towards their plight.
I haven't been allowed in. Years ago we were interested in learning about the Mayans and other cultures and took a trip to Central America, just the two of us backpacking all over the place. We wanted to go to Honduras but at that time the boarders were closed.
I've been to Honduras and, as with El Salvador there are very nice areas and areas that aren't so nice. Then again, the same could be said for a lot of places right here in this First World country.
Absolutely! I would have loved to have seen it. That trip was done, man, let me think.... in 1989, perhaps? Anyway, we had a wonderful time. It was just the two of us. We didn't go on the excursion with a group. Thank goodness the person I was with spoke Spanish!! The best non A**hole country I went to on that trip was Belize and the keys. We got ripped off by a taxi driver in the city of Belize but the keys were beautiful. It's great to see you as always SpunkySenior! Love, Merlin

The African country of Liberia was offered to those former slaves living in the USA. Likewise, the country of Sierra Leone was offered to black British citizens. Not too many takers in either case.
