    * Not easily.  It took me over 4 hours to choose one at Home Depot the other day.  Even so, I'm still not sure that I got the right one.

    Yes....as my dads a builder ,I was able to choose all the locks on our home when we changed them....... I'm not just a pretty face it seems....  :)

    Nope, not at all. I've tried it before as a kid from watching those TV shows or old movies where they used bobby pins or some similar implement.  It never worked for me. 

    (Why, do you need someone to pick one for you?)

    The 'active' parts of locks are deliberately kept out of sight to not give would be intruders ideas about how they can be picked.
