    It is probably a bias, but all I hear in grocery stores is elevator music.

    Really there are some places that still have that?  I used to love that but haven't heard it in stores for many moons - perhaps not since the early 1990s.

    Well I am too reserved to do anything like that.  In so many stores now they literally blast the music at you which is very discomforting and makes me apprehensive about going in there.  Miss the old days when they used to have pleasant and uplifting background music.
