Ahem.... much as this will surprise and shock you... I have sulked quite a few times lately.. the last occasion was just yesterday.  It's desperation... I don't know what else to do...

  • When I've totally lost my temper in an argument with my husband - not often, and ashamed that I still lose it.

I like things the way I like and am not one to settle for less than that.  Does that count?

When I see a beach!  I run towards the water the same way.  Never lost that love for swimming in the waves.

Listen, when I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things, my Meccano set, my Dinky toys, my Airfix 1/72 scale model warplanes, and I said to my wife, bugger this for a game of soldiers, I'm off down the pub. I could have walked, but who walks anywhere when they can drive a beautiful pristine MG Magnette ZB Varitone. But someone crunched my lovely automobile in the pub car park. So I staggered back home and got out all my toys because I knew right there and then that being a grownup wasn't for me.
