Very real injury that could lead to death after neck therapy. There have been reports of people suffering strokes after receiving therapy on their necks. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1905885/

The philosophies behind it are sound, IMO. The practice of it, not always so.

I get real pain relief from mine, but I only go when all the stretching exercises he taught me aren't cutting it.  The fact he has taught me things I can do at home tells me he really cares.

I've not (yet) been to a chiropractor, but I used to have a couple of coworkers who could crack my back and neck, which helped tremendously.  Years ago I used to get some relief from using gravity boots, as well, and am going to try out a gravity bed soon.

You lock your feet in and then flip it so you are upside down.

I do have one of those in the cellar.  I often forget it's there since it came with the house and my cellar is not a finished one.  They DO help, especially if you tend to have back issues.

I do and I hope it helps.  Just getting on one for a minute, I didn't like the feel as much as the boots, but I cannot use the boots by myself and I can with the bed.  Thanks.  :)

I really need my husband there as this thing tilts me upside down.  I admit I have a fear of going backwards and getting stuck.

I know people who swear by them. I have never went. I injured my neck years ago and the surgent told me I was not allowed to go to one.

I definitely would not have one mess with an injured neck.  It has been proven to be quite risky.

He said the first thing many of them want to do it pop your neck. And that would not be good.

I've never visited one but some people rave about the relief they get from him.  There was one near my office that people used and his last name was Hug......Dr. Hug.    . . . . . . . . . . .    Yes it was!

Customers persist in buying chiropractic services, so there must be some perceived benefit. The major failure is that it exists outside the academic system.
