How the heck could any of us know that Stu? It wasn't till 1969 that even the first known HUMAN set foot on the moon. Ah, this is a trick question n'est-ce pas?
It's actually quite easy if you know the history of space exploration. You alluded to the first known human, and I asked about people. Who or what other living beings do you think could possibly have even gotten there, much less landed and explored?
People are always asking me to take shot in the dark guesses about things I could not possibly know anything about, so in this instance I'm going to guess the first were the Lizard People of some far-off star cluster within our own galaxy, or it could have been one of the other of our local group of galaxies. As to how many since - that is a conundrum beyond me, and if someone says they have the definitive answer, I would treat that 'knowledge' with the greatest suspicion. Simply put, another case of insufficient data for meaningful answer. Thank you.
