I was going to suggest "***** up", but according to urban dictionary, that means something else.

Because English-speaking cultures are still full of rampant sexism; most people don't associate being a woman with courage and responsibility, even though the adult duties of a woman, irrespective of her roles and work, require both.
"Man-up!" is not a phrase I would use.

That came from a Southern Criminal Court Judge who also had a TV show for a time, Judge Joe Brown. He told sorry young men to man up faster than a knife fight in a phone booth!
