The only social gatherings I have attended for many years have been family only. I don't like meeting new people and I don't have friends.

  • The latter.
I enjoy new people if they enjoy meaningful conversations,
but I prefer time with meaningful relationships.

I guess neither because seldom are their friends there or do I meet anyone new I would like to know better.  Perhaps being older I am too set in my ways.  I try to be friendly and gracious and help but most people I find just want to run their numbers.

I most look forward to having the memory of it.

It's half and half Jane. But all the people I spoke to were very disappointed you weren't there.

I'm not really a social person.

I don't look forward to social gatherings...unless it is just family.
