  • Awww....I'm so sorry to hear that Rosie.
I do pray often for my sister in law who's going through chemotherapy right now.

I really feel for you and I will try to pray for your son as well.
I don't know if it helps, but it doesn't hurt to try.
    Hang in there Rosie.

I just fell apart yesterday m'dear when our daughter-in-law called to tell us. I shall pray for your sister-in-law and thank you for your kind words Truthseeker.  That's how I feel too. I don't know if prayer helps but it surely can't hurt. Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday! :) ((hugs))

I'm sort of keeping up with your son's process as you comment and reply to others in the thread. My best wishes and prayers continue.
    :)
Glad to hear he's in good spirits - - no matter what's going on in our lives, good spirits are wondrous to have.
    :)

Thank you my friend. Clearly I kinda fell apart yesterday.  He's had such a rough time the last few years. He is a  fighter so with a little bit of luck he will pull through this too. You know I wonder why cancer comes back for some folks? I had a bout with it in 2008 and so far so good. I'm gonna ask that question. Maybe somebody out there knows. I'll keep you posted. Thank you for your reply Lulu'sMom and Happy Thursday. ((hugs)) This post was edited by RosieG at February 7, 2018 10:22 AM MST

Thank you SA . I appreciate your kindness. After our daughter-in-law called yesterday I just lost it. He's had a tough time the last few years but we thought he was out of the wood so to speak. I'll update you as we find out anything. Happy Thursday. ((hugs))

So far so good. He had the surgery. After it heals he will meet with the oncologist to see what the road ahead will be. We talked to him today and he is in remarkably good spirits which really made our day SA. Thank you for your concern. It's very much appreciated! Happy Wednesday! :)

Thank you PeaPod. I appreciate it. It's so much worse when it's your kid than when it's you . You feel so helpless. Happy Thursday m'dear. ((hugs))

He's home and recuperating from the cancer surgery PeaPod. He and his wife live in Arizona and he is a patient at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix so he is in good hands. He hasn't seen the oncologist yet and won't until the surgery heals. Then they will get together and review options of how to proceed. He sounded pretty good under the circumstances. Thank you for caring m'dear. We appreciate it! Happy Tuesday! :) ((hugs))

Thank you tom. I appreciate it. I was a wreck yesterday when our daughter-in-law called. I don't know why cancer keeps recurring in some folks and not others. I'm gonna ask. Maybe there's an answer out there somewhere. Happy Thursday. This post was edited by RosieG at February 6, 2018 2:56 AM MST
