And what do you believe?  That TRUMP is going to make America great again?

    Who is dreaming?

I believe he is going to TRY to make America great again and his chance of success is minimal because there are too many people like you and everything is already too far gone.

The most likely destiny of the U.S. is to suffer an economic and social collapse.

Venezuela. That's what I believe is coming.

The left don't really believe that. They're just intellectually dishonest trash.

I just watched a movie on History Biography about John Adams.

There was so much of the same crap going on even then with the two divisive parties.  One was Federalist and the other was Democratic Republican.  Can you believe that?  The same names for one party.

Anyway, it seems that when there is a "leader" and a bunch of followers, whomever has the most followers seems to win.  At least when those followers are in the right place for grasping power themselves.

Adams fought for structure and law and peace.   He was constantly thwarted at every turn.  It gives me the chills to see how much graft and corruption has come about since then.

If we don't know how to elect a leader, then we don't deserve one.

There are more of us than the BASE and yet we just languish hoping with our fingers crossed for someone to save us.  We have to save us and we don't know how.

    Where is OUR leader?

The more things change the more they stay the same? I guess human beings will always be what they are. I just don't understand an electorate voting for a person who is so anti- them, anti-their country and pro the enemy. I understand the why of the doofus. He is very insecure about his tenure. Admitting Russia played a part means  he probably isn't an authentic president. So he denies everything. That's why nothing is being done to protect our country from continued and further election meddling by the Russkies. He puts himself first and screw the country. The people in the Republican party have the majority. They have the power to do what's right...to impeach. But they won't because they also have no integrity or honor. So our only hope since those with the power refuse to use it is to see how the November 2018 mid-term elections turn out. A Dem majority in the House INSURES that impeachment proceedings will occur. Otherwise if the Republicans retain the majority that dumb-a** Ryan will continue to suck up to the donjohn and do nothing but impede. If he is no longer Speaker of the House and a Dem takes over...say Nancy Pelosi (she spoke for 8 hours straight standing up in 4-inch heels in the House yesterday! No one has ever done that in the House) then things will start cooking on all burners. If the Dems in the Senate take back the majority and McConnell is out on his fathead a** then we got the power. Until then it will take a miracle. Do you believe in miracles Sharon? I do. I hope my belief/faith isn't misplaced. Thank you for your thoughtful reply and Happy Thursday! I wonder what the doofus will do/say today to make us cringe? :(

Neither did a lot of registered blue voters, which is how he got elected in the first place. The Dems didn't bother to show up and vote. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at February 7, 2018 5:39 PM MST

So Sbf you are  totally ignoring the fact that Russia meddled in our election then? Russia flooded twitter and facebook and all the other social sites with bazillions of phony bots peddling fake information to pretzelize the folks who bought it was all 100% true and allowed it to sway them? We will never know how much damage the zillions of bots did to the voting process. We do know that several states had their voting systems HACKED. Russia attempted to do it to 21 states and successfully hacked into the voter rolls in around 10 of them though I don't know which states. All the gullible toadies who believe the bullsh** they read on the internet and the bullsh** Sean Hannity slings probably wouldn't have voted for Hillary anyway but I do think there were some undecideds who bought all the lies and voted for doofus don by default. How many I don't  know and never will. Doofus is very nervous about the legitimacy of the election and that is why he refuses to acknowledge the BIGLY part Russia played in the outcome. Which means nothing is being done to protect us. Which means Russia will keep doing it. Sorry for intruding but I could not let that go. It is too simplistic and does NOT tell the whole story. Apologies Lulu'sMom. I don't usually bud in. This was an exception. :(

Twitter and Facebook did not influence the election.
If you really want to blame something/one....blame James Comey. His announcement that the FBI was repeating the case against Hillary certainly did hurt her and likely did swing some undecided just weeks before the election to vote for Trump or to stay home. He was the joke candidate among 17 Republicans...any one of whom would have been a better choice and the "ya gotta be kidding me" Republican selection. Shocked is what I was. I still cannot believe it is what I am still. I wonder what would have happened if Joe Biden had run?. Hillary just isn't/wasn't that likeable. Of course she got the majority of votes by almost 3 million and mine was among them. But I don't think enough folks were really excited about that choice. It's just that she was less AWFUL. I've voted since I was old enough to vote and I was less enthusiastic about her than the others for whom I've voted. I don't think I'm unique in that. But honestly Lulu'sMom I never in a million years thought enough people would trust donjohn to clean a latrine much less run a country. Boy was I wrong! Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday! :)

LOL!!! Anyone who believes the phoney Russia narrative at this point is a f***ing retard.

What I never thought I'd see is a time when the left hate Russia because it's no longer leftist or globalist enough.

The left by their own admission are globalists who think nationalism is a dirty word. They're disloyal trash and they even have the nerve to accuse the right of disloyalty. Disgusting.... This post was edited by Zeitgeist at February 8, 2018 6:48 PM MST
