    - "Why did you choose to apply for a job in this company?"
    there are only 2 possible answers: 1) I need a job. 2) I have tried everywhere else.
    and 2) is best avoided

    Where did you get your hair done?
    Where did you buy that hair color?
    I don't know this personally but a girl that I work with said at one of her interviews the interview lady asked her both those questions.  It has nothing to do with animal care or nutrition which is what she was applying for.

    She was probably trying to be sociable to make the jobseeker feel at ease (HR dont mean Human Relations specialist).

    A totally illegal one and one that told me they wanted someone young; "What YEAR did you graduate HIGH SCHOOL"?  Huh?

    I knew the job wasn't for me, so I looked right at him and asked him why he needed to know that.  *crickets*  Hahahaha.  The clincher?  He had to be a good 10 or 15 years OLDER than me!  I hate lots of interview questions.
