    I am 1/4 Irish I think.

So, that makes me hardly Irish at all since I feel like my Italian mother had everything to do with my upbringing regarding heritage.

I find the Irish fascinating and wonderful.  I don't think they are simplistic at all.  I think they are rich with imagination and filled with wonder for nature and beauty.  I think they are a fierce and loyal people with tender hearts.

That is how I view them.  I'd like to be like the Irish.  They are cool.  Okay, Okay, he's really Scottish, but that's close enough.  (kill me)

Huh---I would have guessed you to be 100% Irish---but come to think of it, I've never heard you speak with an accent.

Us Irish-descended types are so complex even we dont understand ourselves.

I'm about 90% Irish, the rest being Canuck, Australian aborigine and indeterminate (one great-great-great-grandfather called himself "John Smith", 'nuff said).
