What is your favorite hand tool, electric or otherwise?

Mine is a 20 volt lithium ion Dewalt drill. This is it.

You need to try Festool tools their tools are amazing but vastly over priced.....There is also Flex and  Maftel tools..... All made in Europe
Dewalt ,Bosch and  Makita are ok but nowhere near as good as the one I mentioned...

I've never heard of them. I have an original Ni-Cad 12 volt Dewalt in the metal box with one replacement battery left. It is about 35 years old but has no balls and is good for about thirty holes and screws. Old and tired...like me.

    Art supplies, I guess.

    I love all tools.  I don't have a favorite.

I have hundreds of cooking, painting, household etc.

I mean who has a favorite?  If you have that there drill there, all by itself, it ain't gonna sweep your floor.

A broom is a tool too.

So is a roomba, an electric vaccuum cleaner.  I would like to say they are both my favorites.   But that is just silly.  I need everything I have.  Forks are tools, a table is a sort of tool

You need to pick another word besides favorite.  This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at February 17, 2018 10:12 AM MST

The ink pen I use to write a check after I've called a guy to get the work done.

I love my screwdriver that has four heads that store in the handle.  I keep it in the kitchen and rarely have to go to the toolbox for a screwdriver.

  • A hammer of course. It fixes anything...one way or another.

I used to have a power screwdriver that I loved. But it wore out, and the company no longer made it. They made a pistol shaped thing instead, so it looked like a drill. A drill makes a lousy screwdriver. I really wish I could get another power screwdriver again, one shaped like a screwdriver.

TBH, I have not done any screwing for so long that I have not even looked for one. But it still hurts that the company let me down.

I had two of the type you mention here.  I loved them too and they are nowhere to be found now.  I'm not going to pull out the drill to screw in a couple of screws but that small one, heck yeah!
