Oh very young, what will you leave us this time You're only dancin' on this earth for a short while And though your dreams may toss and turn you now They will vanish away like your dads best jeans Denim blue, faded up to the sky And though you want them to last forever You know they never will (You know they never will) And the patches make the goodbye harder still.
"If I hide myself wherever I go, am I ever really there?"
This is one of my favorite songs of all time. It's about not being yourself in a relationship- hiding parts of you from someone because you aren't prepared to share them with anyone.
I had to think about the lyrics. Joe Cocker, You are so beautiful. Always loved that one too.

I like "End of the Line," too - - I don't think the song was there when I answered. I'm glad to see it. :) Traveling Wilburys or something like that? I know Tom Petty is in there somewhere.
That's Tom in the pic. It is Traveling Wilburys. I was listening to at after I posted the question, so I thought I'd post it. On of greatest group ofperformers ever.
