Nah...just mix them up. But be careful, you might get pregnant.

  • "White Rice" is how I describe my half-white/half-Asian ethnicity :P

It's not racist in my opinion because there is only one race "The human race."
If the settings on your rice cooker were referring to rice as people with different settings for each ethnicity then maybe it could be considered ethnic prejudice for discriminating between the different ethnicities or for possibly leaving out certain ethnicities.
It would also be considered insensitive for referring to Asian people as "Sushi rice." This post was edited by Summer at February 24, 2018 2:07 PM MST

No, not at all.  Don't you know the mixing of different rices dilutes it's use in main course entrees, thereby immediately relegating it to a mere side dish?

LOL.  Hi Sharonna.  I've been bopping around a couple of other sites but I've been focusing most of my energy on fixing up my house to get it on the market this spring.  Hope you've been doing well.

My rice cooker doesn't  say anything. So I would have to say it is a non racist cooker.

No, it just means that rice cookers "recognize" diversity as reality.

Some foods are further processed to remove materials and make them white to better appeal to a color conscious public.

Yes.  When we came to America there was the red rice and we decimated it and removed any memory of that color to make it all white rice.

In my house I make brown rice, black rice, purple rice, red rice (Wehani), and wild rice(which is black-brownish).  They all have a distinct consistency, taste, and cooking time.
