    The last governor election in California. Arnold, while in office the term was used alot and was when I learned they were saying guber not goober ;)

    Exactly!   Now they use "mid-term" elections.  I think it is because people no longer know any words more than 2 syllables and gubernatorial is about 6.

    I don't think FOX NEWS would even allow such a word to be spoken to their base.  That would give them a big migraine.  OUCH.

    Mid-term elections are for the Senate and the House. Gubernatorial elections are for governor.

    How come we have so many gubernatorial elections and we never get a gubernator?

    Swartzenegger was never very gubernatorial. but he was a pretty good governor.
