Favorite Beer?

My roommate is a beer specialist of sorts.  So, I've learned a lot about beer that way.  But I don't drink it. 

I can't.  (I have "THAT" problem)

But beer never did it for me.  It burned my tum tum and took too many to do the job.  I remember that Chartreuse was something I liked a lot more than beer.  It was STRONG.

I can see the lure of the bottle.

Me too.  I cannot drink anymore but the light ones burned my stomach for some reason.

I like the really dark. 

I haven't tasted a dark lager I haven't liked. Relatively speaking, I've not drunk/drank a lot of them.

I don't drink alcohol.

I have nothing against anyone dark. LOL

Yes, I once had a friend with a long-time affinity for drinking. He too imbibed beer and wine with equal delight.
He went dotty too. In fact he also ended up unable to recall more than half-a-dozen or so of his favourite beverages . . . sad really. 

They are all unusual brands.  I think it sounds like a lot of darker beer.
