No president, not even the ones that you do like, no president is wholly responsible for what the stock market (two words, not one) does. The practice of presidents taking credit when the market is good and taking blame when it's bad is knee-jerk and nothing else. It's true that presidential actions may influence market fluctuations, but that's not a direct result, nor is it an all-encompassing result. The stock market moves up or down on a daily or even hourly basis.
