Is life too short to wear boring clothes?

If that was the case, the Bermuda sock wouldn't exist. 

Sometimes you have to wear boring clothes but you can always wear sexy hot undies.

Life it's self is not too short to wear boring cloths but the weekends are - break out the parachute pants it's Hammer Time. Cheers and happy weekend!

If you have money to choose, yes.  YES.

If you live in Ethiopia, life is too short anyway and they don't care much about clothes.  For them, life is too short because of no food no water and little medicine.
