To quote a very wise man "We still got a long way to go".  That's from one of Alice Coopers songs and in case you never heard it - it goes a little something like this - What's holding us together isn't loneliness what's keeping us apart isn't  love - listen to the man who' been touched all his life -  we still got a long way to go. Cooper also had a song that makes me believe that the students will change the gun laws. In case you never heard it - it goes a little something like this - Brats in battalions  were ruling the streets saying generation land slide close the gap between then . And I laughf to my self at the men and the ladies who never conceived of us billion dollar babies. Cheers!

Yes we do.  Will we ever get there? Where is there? I'm gonna ask. Take racism. How far along are we in conquering that? Since doofylucy took over the racism has gotten overtly worse. Doofy is a racist and a bigot so all of them came out from under the rocks where they hid and now proudly march. AARRGGHH.  Thank you for your thoughtful and helpful reply Nanoose and Happy Friday! :)

Old people will die and and that tends to remove conservatives from the electorate. Though young people mature and turn into conservatives.

If you aren't a liberal at 20 you have no heart. If you're not a conservative by the time you're 40, you have no brain.

Besides the young are actually the most conservative generation in decades.

Young people have a natural tendency to be anti establishment. Youth is rebellious. When the left was the counter culture, and conservatism was the establishment, young people tended to go left.

The left has now taken over the establishment and so young people are rebelling against political correctness etc by going right.

Dream on Rosie. The future is conservative and it always will be. Your ideas fundamentally don't work. Conservatism can suffer temporary defeats but it is always reborn from the ashes of society once leftism has reached its inevitable failure.
