If that is your argument against all the kids protesting for a just cause, you are just buying into a weak argument.

my argument is theyre too damn stupid to know theyre being used  to march for the government to take away their rights. This kid is no leader...hes just trying to get famous..and will lie or whatever it takes to get noticed....hes actually pretty pitiful.. He thinks hes made it into the spotlight because hes such a good actor...but he cant even remember his lines.

I have a lot of respect for those who marched. I now there was one time when my grandson could have been hurt or killed at the Aurora Theater murders. Luckily he decided not to go to the show that night. My grandkids voices should be heard, if they want to speak about the atrocities of this crazy place we call Earth. They have the right to speak as much as adults who are voicing their views. If anybody thinks these kids are fake or phony for saying and speaking about what is important to them, are just as brainwashed as they claim these kids are. It's a shame that kids are labeled stupid, thugs, get-highers, and anything else negative. If these kids are so bad, they must have learned it from all the saintly adults that are posers.

It is shocking Rosie.  I cannot believe how much aggression and negativity I am hearing towards these poor kids.  The more the alt right talks, the more they are digging themselves into a hole they aren't going to get out of with the coming elections.

Morality has taken a back seat for many years and much of the world does not seem to care about their own morality or the morality of others.
But there are still plenty of people who do care and it is so refreshing to hear our young people  make such a statement.

I agree with thee Lulu'sMom but you know what shocks me? Read the replies on this thread. The contempt with which some adults hold the children is disheartening. Thank you for your reply! :)

I feel guilty.  I am laughing so hard right now at some of it.  I know it's not funny, but it's so out there that I can only laugh.  Beats crying.

For those that argue that they think Trump holds the morality card because he says he's "prolife", ask yourself what he has done for children (and adults) that are already here?  I think the man is someone I would want to keep my kids far, far away from.  He's vulgar, arrogant, pompous, and quite a verbal bully.  It's sad when even our young people can see what many stuck adults, can't.

I am hoping they light a fire that gets us all to be a better society.  It was young people that protested civil rights, the ending of the Vietnam war, and so many other worthy causes.

Very true PeaPod. To support/defend/admire/like/love/embrace a piece of sh** like doofylucy takes real nerve. To justify it by saying God approves is blasphemous and disgusting. Those who support him want to be like him. They accept anything he says/does as coming from God. They don't listen. They don't hear. They don't care. They taint the earth by their very existence and are ruining it. They think God is on their side and what they can't see or understand because they refuse to think at all is that that they are tools of evil/devil. If Satan exists they march for Him. I really relieve that. You are what you eat. You are what you believe. No better. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday m'dear!  :) This post was edited by RosieG at March 28, 2018 12:29 PM MDT

These sorts of people use God as a weapon.  They must have skipped that part of the Bible too about doing that.  smh.

You are welcomed Rosie.  Some alt right type conservatives blow everything out of the water when it comes to what I learned about Christianity as a child.  Their God is nothing like the one I remember.

    Happy Wednesday Rosie!

At the age of 12 I was a Sunday School teacher PeaPod. I learned that GOD IS LOVE. I don't relate to those who think otherwise. Thank you for your reply m'dear! :)

Wow Rosie.  Sunday school was a big part of my life as well.  My grandfather was a Methodist minister.  I too was brought up with the notion of a loving God.  I also was taught to not throw his name around for an agenda.  We learned to examine ourselves before others.  I would never think to use my beliefs to punish others or to use as bragging rights in the political arena.

I must say there are many evangelicals that are very misguided these days.  Trump is so far away from any Christian teaching.  My opinion of course.

We are totally on the same wavelength here PeaPod. Totally. I don't really talk that much about God. It makes some folks very nervous. Why I don't know. But every once in awhile..especially NOW with evangelicals embracing doofylucy which I think makes them phonies...I do. Thank you for your reply.

    Well, I agree.

I guess Christ demonstrated "tough" love when he suggested assertively that the money changers should leave the temple.  (lol)

I don't know whether it was a movie I saw or an actual TV show but somewhere in the past there was a famous obscenely wealthy evangelical who preached that GOD wanted us to be rich! Yep. It was all about wealth and excess and lavish lifestyles and how that pleased GOD. I doubt it. There is nothing wrong with being wealthy. It makes it possible to do great service to your fellow man if you are so inclined. The Bill&Melinda Gates Foundation for example and they are not the only ones who give back bigly. But acquiring wealth and wanting more and more and more and more and more without doing good works with it? How is that a GOOD thing? Further getting more and more and more and more on the backs of the poor? I doubt that is what pleases GOD. Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday! :)
