I wear those three often on my favorite-kind-of-weather days - - sort of cool, not to0 hot, not too cold - - just right for a sweatshirt and shorts.

Pleated pants, collared shirts and plain black or dark blue shoes... yeah, I was a square!

I am from Japan, so a furisode kimono was traditional for young girls. With it, I wore proper accessories: shiro nagajuban, keku obi, obi-age, obi-jime, tabi and zori. In summer a yukata and getas were worn. Western clothing is worn some too.

    Jeans and T-shirt.

Similar to the 'Benedict Arnold' up there, I still prefer wearing them.

Jacket, shirt (not button down), tie, trousers (not jeans) and black leather shoes. Scarf if cold but no hat.

The sad thing was that I wanted to keep up with the fashion of the time. That is when I cared what others thought about me. If you care what the fashion was in the late 80s, just look it up, and that was me. Men's clothing and not women's clothing, mind you.
