Do you know of any couple who got married after matching their horoscopes?

It's commonly done for arranged marriages in India.

No I haven't. IMO horoscopes are for simpletons. If you read each horoscope, you'll find something in each that describes you. They are designed this way, so that nobody is left out.

    Yeah, sure it is.

Very common.  You have a SITE?

It is not common at all.  Their horoscopes have little to do with the ones in our newspapers.   Arranged marriages in India have everything to do with family connections and zero to do with your silly rumor.

  • I know a lot of people don't believe in horoscopes, but yesterday all Sagittarians world wide were run over by double decker buses ... it makes you think ...

  • My father tells me his uncle's horoscope was so accurate it predicted every major event in his life and the year in which it would happen.

My grandfather's horoscope by the same astrologer, on the other hand, was most inaccurate in many of its predictions. He outlived his predicted death by almost thirty years!

  • Do you mean a website? No, I don't; I'm not an astrologer.

  • Didn't you notice it was easier to get a seat in the bus today?

  • There were fewer buses running too. I believe a lot of drivers were run over by their colleagues yesterday.

    I love your humour, ozgirl.

  • I must admit I did overlook the fact that some drivers would be ex-saggitarians also ....

    No, I do not.

By sheer coincidence, my wife's birthdate is just four days prior to mine, but it's not something that either of us sought as a prerequisite to marrying each other.

" . . . your silly rumor."? Why the hostility?

The reply button doesn't seem to be working correctly.  This is in response to Sharonna.

I worked with a few Indian people a number of years ago. It's generally called Kundli matching and is used in conjunction with the typical methods used when arranging marriages.   http://www.bollywoodshaadis.com/articles/the-perfect-match:-relevance-of-kundli-matching-in-marriages-1562
