That's false. Paedophilia is attraction to prepubescent children. 17 old year girls are smoking hot and any man of active libido that denies attraction to them is lying. Taking advantage of an underage girl is very wrong and I consider it criminal, though it's not paedophilia.
Testosterone levels decline with age so most men have little libido by the time they reach 70. Though in some men testosterone remains quite high. This is common in very ambitious and high achieving men. Maintaining libido is simply a sign of good health.
I don't consider someone to be a "dirty old man" simply because they still have a libido. What I consider base is the egomania it must take to imagine that a woman of that age could ever find an old man attractive. An old man is a fool to think that any young woman would desire him. If he has the self awareness to realise that she is surely not attracted to him, I can't understand why he is interested.
Did you ever stop to think what kind of 18 year old woman would have sex with a 70 year old man? Is that not equally base or even more so?

Sexual predator. But not a pathological perversion per se, an 18yo woman KNOWS what she is doing. Paedophilia is an attraction to prepubescent children. Hebephilia is an attraction to young women who are physically mature but still below the age of consent - say 13-17. Capable of having sex, enjoying it and saying so, but still not fully aware of the implications. Again not technically a perversion from a psychiatrist's point of view, but a crime and imo a heinous one. Taking advantage.
