I had a couch that Spencer Davis' Group crashed on at a groupie friend of mine's house.

Hippies, they were always trading things.

I didn't recognize the "All Right Now" song either by title or group but I recognized it immediately as I listened.

  • I didn't know who it was singing with Phil Collins until the early days of youtube, but I thought it jammed way back when I only got to catch it on the radio every so often.

I'm crossing my fingers for the video to work.  Whoever made the video starts the sound at 9 seconds.

I remember this song...it's one of the few songs by Phil Collins I've collected over the years...because Philip Baileys voice makes the song. This post was edited by maggie at April 1, 2018 5:31 PM MDT

The best song Phil Collins put his voice to.
I had no idea this was him.  So, this is my choice too.

This definitely has a Phil Collins 'sound' to it --  I'm not a great fan of Collins but I respect him --  but like you and maggie have said -- Bailey is the strength of this song. I think Collins sings too loudly when they sing together. Ha!

He is not my favorite.  He has a few very good songs in my humble opinion, but he was so over-played in the 80's I just hate the idea of him now.  Not as much, of course.  I can allow for the fact that Genesis was great but that to me was because of the other guy.

    Here's another song for me!!
-- I never knew who sang it until now!! And I've always liked it!
    :)

And I enjoyed the triceps muscles on the male gymnasts in the video, ha!

The A-bomb drills- images -- creepy to me. This post was edited by WelbyQuentin at April 2, 2018 8:44 AM MDT

  • You don't think he sounds like Elvis?  I sure do!

"Suspicion" is a song written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman for Elvis Presley
which became a major hit in 1964 via a recording by Presley sound-alike Terry Stafford. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at April 1, 2018 5:25 PM MDT

in my opinion...and im not a big elvis fan and ive never heard this song before... it does sound like elvis...until they sing suspicion...then he sings his line...that when it doesn't sound like elvis to me. right around the 45 mark.
