Have you ever had a special moment with some one famous?

Once I was driving around Detroit with some buddies and they were fighting and arguing about something stupid. I was in the back seat trying to ignore them by looking out the window and a car pulled along side us. The passenger in the car was Ted Nugent so I tried to be cool and gave him a head nod and he gave me a head nod back. I didn't let my buddies know that the Motor City Mad Man was in are car next to us because they would of embarrassed me plus it was nice having Ted all to my self. Cheers!

  • Depends how famous.

    Some with people in known in their specialist fields.

    None with people known to everyone -

    If I see a celebrity (extremely rare in my part of the world)

    I'm careful to leave them alone

    because I think they loose too much privacy

    and deserve as much space as they can get.

    I'm not aware if it's a special moment if you are familiar with them and spending time with them over a period. But yes, I've known and been around famous people.

    That varies a lot depending on whom we talk about. They all got their attitudes though. If it's because of fame or who they are is always hard to tell. I know people who aren't famous having attitudes as well. Some of them can be attitudes we picked up to stage ourselves whereas others are in our nature. I'd say behind the public eye they tend to be as normal and varied as the rest of us, maybe with a little edge (some cases a larger).

    Do you know how vile and contemptable that man is?  If I saw him in the street I would spit in his freaking FACE that pig.

    How thrilling for you.  NOT IMPRESSED ONE IOTA. UGH

    I would rather meet Joe Nobody any day that that piece of TRASH.   I would love to see him and Trump locked in a cell for ever and a day with no one else forever until they rot.

    I went to an Ella Fitzgerald concert and went backstage after to get her autograph.......HUGE autograph nut here!!!

    anyway........after she changed clothes she came back to where a small group of us were standing......she signed for everyone and soon they were all gone......I looked around and.......NO ONE ELSE.....just me,  and ELLA!!

    holy crap......I told her how great it was to meet her and that we all enjoyed the concert and she should plan on coming back real soon . in other words, I was a babbling idiot......

    there was SOMETHING I wanted to ask her so badly but could NOT think of it.........I also wished her a happy belated birthday........what a MORON, right?

    but she was very sweet, actually kinda shy.........I stood there a little longer and thought for SURE someone's gonna come along and say it was time to go, etc.....I could see the back end of a limo thru the door right nearby........still no one came.......finally, someone did, and I thanked her again for her time.


    SO OF COURSE on my way home, I remembered what I wanted to ask her; OH WELL!!!!!!!!!

    but what a tremendously exciting thing to happen to an autograph hound!!!!!

    and of all the many I've gotten over the years, it was the only time I'd had SO MUCH time with a celebrity.........

    "Special"...no.  My contact with celebs has been limited to pumping gas for Bob Seger, giving directions to Run DMC when they got lost on their way to give a concert at a local venue, and making eye contact with Kid Rock on several occasions at traffic stops.

    HUH?  I feel that those were all 'special' in their own way!!!!  how many people can claim the type of encounters you had with celebs?  not many I bet!!!
