President Trump talking about how they keep care of the White House.

Also, I want to thank the White House Historical Association and all the people that worked so hard with Melania, with everybody to keep this incredible house, or building, or whatever you want to call it, because there really is no name for it, it is special. And we keep it in. Tip. Top. Shape. We call it sometimes tippy-top shape, and it's a great, great place. This post was edited by my2cents at April 4, 2018 5:41 PM MDT

There is a name for it - it's called The White House.  Is there no level of moronic chatter from Trump that you won't excuse?

Did I excuse anyrhing? I in fact gave the full quote....if I were trying to spin it. I would not have gave the quote.

And, by pointing out the full quote, you only made it more obvious what a stupid remark it was.  The name for that "building, or whatever you want to call it" is The White House.

Just evidence of my only worrying about facts.....

I worry about facts also. Especially if certain facts are true---such as a US president referring to the White House as being in "tippy-toppy" shape during a public venue.

If a US president every said that, I guarantee that while such a pronouncement would not be unexpected in our current environment; it would certainly worry me to a considerable extent as well.

Ah, again we agree on something.

So he has a funny saying something is kept in good repair.....who cares.
Does it matter in the scheme of things? This post was edited by my2cents at April 4, 2018 6:44 PM MDT

    Well, yes it does.

And even though I have explained why such things do matter, there is apparently a problem in the communication between the two of us.  The problem when a communication fails is either with the sender or the receiver.

I'm content to let others locate the problem.

Just because we disagree does not mean we have a communicate problem.

I disagree. Saying Tippy Top....means nothing. Other than President Trump has a cutsey phrase for something.
As if rocket man is gonna say Trump said tippy top....I can bomb them now.

Nope, not gonna happen. It is not the first time President Trump has used the phrase either.... This post was edited by my2cents at April 6, 2018 4:52 AM MDT

Imagine President Obama saying that? You can't, can you? It would mean he had cracked up, lost his mind.  SIGH. He has a mind to lose. The doofylucy is not so lucky nor are we.  Being stuck with a mindless boob such as he? T'is a pity. :(

Then you must spend a lot of time worrying every time Trump opens his mouth or tweets.

I don't have twitter. I think most the twitter stuff is to bother the media...it works.

I don't have Twitter either.  You don't have to have an account to know what he's posting.  It's on Yahoo as well.  The media posts it because Trump's tweets are considered presidential correspondence.

"Tippy toppy". What 71 year old have you ever heard speak such gibberish as that? Seriously L that is beyond stupid dumb, moronic, idiotic and asinine. It could be cutesy piesy from a 2-year-old who then sings "tip toe through the tulips".    Doofylucy is the tippy toppy prez. SIGH. What's next? Goo goo mama dada?

The only thing I can think of is that he may have been addressing a group of children there for the egg hunt.  Still, it was a really dumb thing to say there's no name for the White House. :)  Happy Wednesday, Rosie. :)

I  dunno L.  He was talking about a lot of stuff that kids aren't interested in and then he says "tippy toppy". Did you ever talk down to yru children like that? I sure didn't. Thank you for your reply :)

Thank you for your question.   I wonder if after his a** is gone there will be anything he did worth remembering because it was a GOOD thing? I'm gonna ask!

Before I read the whole title of your post, I thought you were talking about something said on Sesame Street.

I'm a huge fan of Sesame Street and the muppets Lulu'sMom. My son was 2 years old when Sesame Street was born and we were both avid fans. It was shown on KGBH the public broadcast station in Massachusetts where we were living at the time. Sesame Street NEVER talked down to children. You never heard poopygoofydoofylucy talk there. We had Kermit the Frog telling us it wasn't easy being green and Miss Piggy showing us that she loved Kermie and the Cookie Monster and all the inventive characters . Not one of them fell to the embarrassing level of doofylucy. Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday! :)
