Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» No one is perfect. They forgive his sexual perversions and consistent lies. They don't forgive immigrants for their wish to survive. WHY?
Everything is love or hate to you, isn't it? Your mind is just ruled by emotion with no perspective. I don't blame immigrants for wanting a better life. I'd do the same in their place. Though that's irrelevant. Sexual shenanigans can't cause a country to collapse. Uncontrolled immigration combined with a leftist welfare state can.
By the time the left is done with U.S., American women will be whoring themselves out to make ends meet, just like Venezuela.

One of the reasons for the Fall of Rome was Government corruption and political instability.
Sexual"shenanigans" speak to the ethics and morality of those involved. The ethics and morals that we can infer from sexual shenanigans speak to the likelihood of government corruption and political instability.
I consider that last sentence to be beyond contestation.
I didn't say sexual shenanigans were good. Though vice has always existed. I see it as more of a symptom than a cause of problems.
I think the level of vice says something about the general level of morality in a society. Though I think one should be careful about passing judgement on the character of individuals. Some people have far higher sex drives than others and face more temptation in that area, but are upstanding in other ways.
Uncontrolled immigration is a cause of problems. The reason Latin America is like Latin America is because of Latinos. The reason America is like America is because of Americans. By allowing high levels of immigration, the U.S. is simply importing an inferior culture and becoming infected by it, INCLUDING whatever factors cause higher levels of vice. If you think vice is so terrible, bringing in Latinos is the last thing you should do. Biggest horndogs ever.
If you think the fate of Venezuela can't be shared by the U.S. you are very very wrong. Any institution that spends more than it produces eventually goes bankrupt.
