Its a Mash made from potatoes and peelings......it's illegally distilled so it's unregulated and I have no idea of its proof....Apart from it burns your throat if you drink it neat. ...It does have a nice flavour though...
You can drink it with hot water and sugar if you feel a bit flu'ey .....The flu bugs don't seem to like it much and tend to hop it quickly...Hehe

  • That looks something like mine, but I prepare my potatoes with country gravy w/browned hamburger (SOS), grated parmesan cheese, and hot pico de gallo.  It knocks my socks off.

Boil the spud until it's very very soft. Throw it up in the air. When it comes down, SQUISH!

I don't like "fixins" with my mashed potatoes.  I just use a little milk, butter, and sometimes a little sour cream and/or cheese.  I love potatoes and have them several times a week.  Seriously about three day out of the week I have a potato with my dinner.  I prefer it to rice and/or pasta and it has some good nutrients for me, including a bit of potassium.

    baked
    boiled
    fried
    french fried
    julienne
    grated
    with onions
    with cheese
    with shrooms
with green peppers (not other colors)
    salted
    buttered
breakfast burrito (where mashed potatoes masquerade as scrambled eggs)

Fixins are ok in my book.
