For a brief period of time, I drank more than I should have.

None.  I knew more than all the doctors and all the nurses.  I made a ton of mistakes because I was a big know-it-all when it came to me and my body that never really got that sick.

It makes me very humble when facing 20-year-olds today.  I cannot judge them.  I know what I was like.  I pray for them.  When they are more mature than I was, I honor them.  It is hard out there.

We were married eleven years when our first child was born. It took us a while to adjust to a life of having a child in our lives. We had chosen to remain childless for different reasons. So the day we found out we were having a child was a shock to our nervous system. Though we considered our child a blessing (psalms 127:3) we also realized the serious responsibility and daunting task at hand. (Deuteronomy 6:6,7) This post was edited by Autumnleaves at April 25, 2018 11:12 PM MDT
